Pizza on the grill is a huge summertime favorite in my family....and one of the most requested meals when we have friends over for some reason. That is fine for me because it is soooo easy to do. Since it is all done outside there is no messy kitchen to clean up. And you can get crazy with the things you put on it. You should only know the things my son wants on top of his pizza.....haha!!! He does love this one and if you have some of my Pulled Pork already prepared, then it is really a piece of cake!!
OK....so nothing to this one..... Grab your dough. I like to get mine at my local pizza store. It's already perfect!! Why mess with perfection?? Place on a floured surface. Cut it into four sections. Stretch each section out until thin. Brush or rub one side with olive oil.
Place oiled side down on a hot grill. Close the lid. It cooks very quickly so keep you eye on it. Turn it when it is as brown and crispy (or not) as you like it.
Next, lay on the cheese. As much or as little as you like. Follow with the Pulled Pork!!
Close the lid again until the cheese is all goey, melted and the other side of the dough is cooked. I love it a bit crispy.....yummmmm!!!
Seriously....how good does that look??? You can't go wrong with this Pulled Pork Pizza. Such an easy great summertime, fun with the kids, dinner. They definitely love stretching/playing with the dough. Angelina made a heart shaped pizza. I wonder who that could be for???
