This butter is the first step in an amazing Turkey or Stuffed Turkey Breast. It really is a must have. It will season your turkey with wonderful flavors and keep it moist at the same time. I rub this butter under the skin of the breast as well as all over the complete turkey. HERB & GARLIC BUTTER
1 POUND (4 STICKS) OF BUTTER ROOM TEMPERATURE HANDFUL OF FRESH SAGE HANDFUL OF FRESH ROSEMARY HANDFUL OF FRESH THYME 5 CLOVES OF GARLIC 2 TBLSP OLIVE OIL SALT & PEPPER
Very simply....grab your food processor and get all the butter in. Pulse while drizzling in the olive oil and completely incorporated and smooth.
Add all of the fresh herbs on at a time ....pulsing in between each to incorporate well.
Season well with salt & pepper. And lastly, add the garlic cloves and again mix well until completely combined and it looks smooth and creamy....
Great....that's done!!! One step closer to an amazing Turkey!!! This can be used on sooo many other meats also...it is fantastic on a Crown Roast of Pork or just on top of a great grilled steak. You can make this and store in your refrigerator. Or freezer for longer. It is nice to have on hand so make lots and put it into small pieces of wax paper/parchment paper rolled into a log so it is easy to slice when you want to use it. Store in a zip lock.
