There is not much of a recipe for Honey Mustard. Rather three simple ingredients that everyone probably has in their kitchens. Mayo...mustard...and honey!! It's that simple and takes 2 minutes to make. Play with it, you may like it a little sweeter with extra honey or a little spicier with extra mustard. It is a great dipping sauce for chicken fingers. My family loves it. But it is also fantastic on sandwiches or a panini, and of course a makes a great salad dressing. Give it a try.....
HONEY MUSTARD
1 CUP MAYONNAISE 1 TBLSP BROWN MUSTARD 4 TBLSP HONEY
Mix the ingredients together. My only advise is to mix the mayo and the mustard first. Then add the honey a tablespoon at a time so you can make it as spicy or sweet as you like it. Use anywhere you love honey mustard...ENJOY!!!
As for the chicken fingers....soooo simple. I prefer to use either my homemade breadcrumbs or.... Progresso Breadcrumbs. Either way I would still do a 50/50 mixture with Panko crumbs for a nice crunch!!
Dip them in egg...then the crumb mixture...then fry in vegetable or olive oil. You can also bake them if your prefer. Again....it's all up to you. ENJOY!!!
