Here we go again......Let's get ready for some FOOTBALL!!!!! And who doesn't love a great chicken wing while watching a game??? Let me say....there is nothing wrong with these!! They are loaded with garlic, fall off the bone, amazing flavor wings!! But you have to start today. You must put them in the marinade a full day before you want them for the ultimate flavor. But heres the best part....you do not have to make the marinade. Just buy it and pour it!!! Seriously.....soooo easy!! So go grab some wings and get started. You will be happy you did tomorrow!!!
LOADED GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS
CHICKEN WINGS WISHBONE ROBUSTO ITALIAN DRESSING 1 WHOLE HEAD OF GARLIC OLIVE OIL
OK....so here's the problem!!! As usual, I cannot tell you exactly how much to use....measurements are not really my thing!! Only because here....in a recipe like this...it all depends of how many people you are feeding. The only thing I can say is that I usually buy the packages of wings called "Wingettes", or the cut wings. There is usually 12 - 15 in a package and I usually will put 2 whole packages in a ziplock with 1 whole bottle of the Wishbone Italian Dressing. And....btw...I like to use the Robusto Italian but if you can not find it....the regular Italian is perfectly fine!!! Now, if you have alot of people.....do yourself a favor....buy 4 packages and divide them into two ziplocks. The point is...thats all there is...the wings and the dressing. Just make sure all wings are covered. Remove any air from the bag and refrigerate overnight.
Happy Sunday!!!! And here we go....time for some wings!! So about an hour before you want to start cooking them, take them out of the frig and just let them rest on the counter. Remember....never cook cold meat!!
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
While you are letting them rest you can get your garlic sliced. Seriously, if you have not bought the Pampered Chef Garlic Slicer yet.......do it!!! Just take a look at my perfectly, beautiful sliced garlic!!!!
Use a large roasting pan.....disposable is great if you have it!! Spread out all of the garlic in the bottom of the pan. Then, in a single layer, as much as possible, lay all the chicken wings in the pan. Drizzle slightly with olive oil.
Bake in a 400 degree oven, covered with foil, for an hour!!!
Then take the foil off and turn your oven to broil. You will want to drain some of the juices that have collected in the bottom of the pan, but not all. You will also want to turn the wings about every 10 minutes to brown all sides. Here, again, make them your own. Keep cooking and browning as much as you like. I love them really crispy, but it's all up to you!!
You and your family, guests, who ever you are feeding will love when you pull these out of the oven!!! I have been making these wings for years and years. In fact, I do not even remember where I got this recipe but it was a very long time ago. And we still absolutely love them!!!
