This is the simplest dessert!! But just another idea for a last minute desert that will take 10 minutes to throw together and everyone will love.... What could be better than berries on a cloud of fresh whipped cream???? You can also substitute the fruit for anything you like. I picked all berries but you can use peaches, pears, pineapple....wait...mango!!! Anything would be fantastic here so you decide.
BERRY CLOUDS
ANGEL FOOD CAKES OR MUFFINS STRAWBERRIES BLUEBERRIES RASPBERRIES 1/2 CUP SUGAR 1 PINT HEAVY CREAM
Start by washing all of your fruit. Slice your strawberries and get them all into a bowl along with the blueberries and raspberries. Add 1/4 cup of the sugar and mix well to coat all the fruit. It is best to do this at least a hour or two before you are ready to serve.
I just got this gorgeous bowl recently from a great friend and I am going to serve my fruit in it today!! I love it so much...it is beautiful!! Thanks so much, Lala!!
Next, with a hand mixer, whip the heavy cream in a bowl When beginning to thicken, add the other 1/4 cup of sugar. Whip until thick!! I found these great Angel Food muffins in the store today so I picked them up. If you have a whole cake just slice it up.
Now...assemble. Or not!! You can just serve all separately and let your guests put theirs together as they wish. Or, you can make a beautiful platter of them all put together. There you go...just an idea for a quick yet delicious desert!!
