There is nothing to this one if you have recently made my Savory Beef Stew. This is just a suggestion as to how to transform your leftovers into a whole new amazing diner. There really is no recipe all you need is the leftover stew and a package of Puff Pastry Sheets. I have these adorable little single serving baking dishes. If you do not have anything like this you can just use one big pie plate.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
I like to just cut the meat into smaller cubes before I fill the the baking dishes. It is nice when everything is in tiny bite sizes. So just fill them up about 3/4 of the way to the top with the stew.....
Next take your Puff Pastry Sheets and cut them a little larger than the size you actually need. Just slightly larger is perfect....then just lay it on top and kind of tuck it all in....
I also like to brush the tops with some butter for an extra added flavor. Then get them into the 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until the Puff Pastry is completely cooked through. It should be light...fluffy and beginning to turn golden brown.
Doesn't that look amazing???? Mine must have overflowed...good thing I had it on a tray!!! The butter brushed Puff Pastry just takes this stew to a whole new level. Again, just a suggestion for a great dinner in a flash during the week or anytime!! ENJOY !!!! ALL GOOD STUFF !!!!!
