NUTELLA!!!!! Nutella is just amazing. My son, CJ, and I definitely always enjoyed Nutella, but fell in love with Nutella on our trip to Italy last Easter. Nutella is everywhere. Nutella gelato, candies, pastries and best of all... NUTELLA CREPES!!! This is actually me fighting him for a bite..and believe me it wasn't an easy battle...
I will include Nutella in lots of different recipes, especially the crepes, but this one is like a spin on tiramisu. Using the lady fingers gives it a little texture and crunch.
NUTELLA DREAMS
3/4 CUP NUTELLA 3 CUPS HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM 1/2 CUP MARSCAPONE CHEESE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE LADY FINGERS 1/4 SUGAR
Such an easy and delicious desert to make. Start by whipping the heavy cream in a large bowl. When it starts to get thick, add the sugar in while you continue to whip, until it is a nice firm texture.
When the cream is ready, separate equally into two bowls. Fold in the marscapone and the Nutella gently into one bowl. Leave the other bowl plain.
Then go ahead and break up your lady fingers. Break up into the sizes you need to fit in a flat layer in whatever size bowl you are going to use. You can do this in one big bowl, then just scoop out serving. I like to use glass desert cups. They just look so pretty when you can see the layers.
Okay...let's build layers!! First, line the bottom of the bowl with a flat layer of ladyfingers. Then a layer of the Nutella mixture. Finally, a layer of plain whipped cream. Now, do it all again. Top it with some crushed lady fingers, so it looks beautiful!! It's gorgeous, delicious and...addicting. Grab a spoon and ENJOY!!!!
